All the guides we use have spent years riding in the Forest of Dean, Wye Valley, Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. Our guides hold either the Mountain Bike Leadership Award / MBLA or Trail Centre Leader (TCL) qualification. We will take you straight to the best mountain bike trails in the heart of the forest or Wye valley – from mellow flowing single track to technical rocky descents. Forest of Dean & Wye Valley guided trail rides are available one to one or for groups of up to typically six (with a maximum of 8 per guide). We can tailor the period to suit your needs. From beginner to expert, or for groups / couples or families, we have the local knowledge guiding & coaching skills to ensure you get the most from the riding. You choose the date and the area of the Forrest or Wye valley you’d like to ride (we’re happy to give advice over the phone / via e-mail and make suggestions if you’re planning a trip). Tell us the type of riding you’d like and how technical you would like it and we’ll do the rest. And by the way we can also ride at night!

We are a small company and most of our guiding is done by Mark Williams (Bumpy). However, we are part of a close-knit community of MTB skills guides locally and during busy periods there are several other guides we share work with. Rest assured that these guides are the best we know, they are all close friends and valued riding companions and are all Mountain Bike Leader Award (MBLA) Qualified or Trail Centre Leader (TCL) Qualified with valid Outdoor First Aid Certification.
