Hi Mark

A huge thumbs up for the River Wye Canoe Hire and Mark Simons. We have just finished a three day exped down the Wye using Mark's kit. Not only did Mark give us a great deal but also gave valuable info and tips on how we could get the most out of our trip. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We hired 8 canoes and associated kit from him so if you are a large group Mark can cater to yours needs, this is the man and the company for you. Without his willingness to go that extra bit for us it would not have been a pleasurable as it was. Thank you very much from myself, the children and all at Coln House School.

Hi Mark

Firstly, apologies for the delay in me sending this email. A group of us came up in July and spent a couple of days canoeing down from Ross on Wye to Redbrook, stopping overnight at Ye Old Ferrie Inn.

I meant to contact you sooner to say a big thanks for all your help, we had a great time. I thought you might want a few words for your website so please feel free to use any of the following, or not, as you feel appropriate.

Spent 3 days canoeing down the Wye from Ross-on-Wye to Redbrook. Our group of 12 consisted of adults and children. Mark and his team were brilliant from the moment we arrived, the quality of the information, instruction and guidance we were given was excellent. Mark was there to meet us when we stopped each day. His friendleness, expertise and overall service was fantastic. I would definitely recommend doing this trip and would certailnly recommend Mark and his team as the company to go with.

Many thanks for the weekend we had a great time. The length of the days were just about right for the water and weather conditions and the campsite and pub recommendation were as described and what were needed.

We left a menu from the pub as requested. It was busy as expected but the food was hot and the quality was good albeit the prices were probably slightly on the high side for a basic pub but beer and service good and no reason to complain at all.

We liked your centre's organisation and timings. You got us to where you said when you said and the amount of demonstrations and information we found to be right. Other firms we have used tend to run late and seemed to take ages in getting everything together. The drop off location was good and details on over night stop were good (Although we missed some of the landmarks on the first day so were not 100% sure how well we were progressing).

The collection again was well organised and a good stopping point, although you were that efficient we did not have time for a pint!!

All in all a very good weekend and we will definitely be doing it again. We would like to do a higher up part of the river next ending at Lucksall so I am not sure whether you do that stretch or could recommend a firm that would enable us to end at Lucksall (The Hereford company on that site?).

Hi Mark,

Just wanted to say thanks for helping me organise what was a great trip from Ross on Wye to Monmouth. Sorry we did not thank you in person yesterday but you were snowed under with people. Davin and I had a fantastic time - you have such a beautiful area to work in! Also, thanks again to your wife for coming to pick us up. Hopefully, more people will hire with you as I am passing on the good word to friends, colleagues etc.

Thank you for looking after us so well on our visit on Sunday. We had a great time and all enjoyed the trip with both boys exhausted and sleeping like babies on the drive home.
